Established on 23 February 1942, we are the foremost educational institution in Matugama, serving 4,690+ students with a legacy of excellence.

Today the school is supported by 182 Teachers, 29 Clerical Staff, 28 Minor Staff (Total non-academic: 57). Total staff: 239. We nurture future leaders through discipline, academics, and character development.

Established at Sri Sudarshanaramaya Temple, Matugama. Founders: Daya T. Pasqual, E.W. Adikarams, Ven. Medhananda Thero. First Principal: R.D. Siriwardena.
